Part-Time Licensed Psychologist (PhD or PsyD) - Psychotherapy
Are you looking for your next professional opportunity within a supportive and growing practice? Beacon Light Psychological Services (BLPS) is seeking a licensed psychologist (PhD or PsyD) for a part-time W-2 employee position to provide psychotherapy. This position offers flexibility to work with children, adolescents, young adults, families, or any combination of these populations based on training, experience, and interests. This opportunity is well suited for a psychologist seeking flexibility, meaningful clinical work, and the chance to help shape the continued growth of a collaborative practice.
Founded in 2022, BLPS provides comprehensive evaluations, individual and family therapy, and parent coaching services. We are proud to support families across Maine and New England by recognizing each individual’s unique strengths and vulnerabilities, while equipping them with tools to thrive. Our mission is to provide high-quality, personalized psychological care that translates insight into meaningful action. We are grounded in these values that shape our work:
Quality: We deliver high-quality, evidence-based care with professionalism and thoughtfulness.
Approachability: We create a welcoming, non-intimidating environment where clients feel safe and supported.
Actionable Help: We focus on practical, real-world strategies that empower clients and families.
Attentiveness: We prioritize clear communication, responsiveness, and follow-through.
Comprehensiveness: We take a holistic, thoughtful approach that considers the full picture of each individual.
We value building a collaborative and supportive team that is committed to providing comprehensive care to the individuals and families we serve. We care deeply about our clinicians’ professional growth and strive to create an environment where team members feel supported and able to thrive in their work. Our clinicians benefit from strong administrative support and well-designed systems that help reduce unnecessary stress, support work-life balance, and allow clinicians to focus more fully on the parts of the work they find most meaningful.
